Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX

So one night I got into Project Diva thanks to a friend streaming it to me and I proceeded to play megamix. Later I found out a lot of the songs in that game are from previous Diva games so i was going to play them but my old psp sd adapter died on me so I went with the next best thing and played Mirai on my 2ds.
Mirai was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than I expected it to be. There are a ton of songs and with the options of tapping or using the buttons, I do indeed feel very inclined to play replay them constantly to scratch my itch for perfection.

The game is honestly pretty forgiving compared to megamix when it comes to its scoring, especially when using the tap play style. Had a lot of times where I still got an S rank even after a couple mistakes, though on button mode it feels a bit more strict but maybe I'm just not as good when using buttons.

As for the charting the game is a lot harder on button compared to tap, when on higher difficulties. For me personally I'd say a songs difficulty depends on the amount plinking a song has between the dpad and buttons, I am terrible at reacting to those in time.

One thing megamix doesn't have at all, which Mirai does, are the character room. I probably enjoy watching them do random stuff more than I should but it's adorable and it makes me happy.
Now that I think about it, Megamix doesn't have a lot of things I enjoy in Mirai.
The streetpass cards are neat(even if the chances of getting a hit in this day and age is almost 0), the dance studio is cool too, even if I can't be bothered to anything with it, the room customization is cool too and I like seeing how they interact with what you put in there, and by far the best thing in this game that isn't just the rhythm game mode, is the puyo puyo minigame. It is very fun, that is all I can say.

I guess the chibis are adorable too, the way the walk is funny to me.
Favourite songs to play are probably Sing and Smile, Clover Club, 1 2 Fanclub, Cendrillion, Age again, the world is mine and skeleton orchestra, even if its hard as shit.
That's about all I have to say on Mirai. Extremely fun vocaloid rhythm game that you should play if you're already into Project Diva. Post edit: My time has grown on me a lot too and the official project mirai website's design makes me happy. There are some unlisted pre release videos there too.
